Leather Basketballs are the most expensive basketballs available and should be used only in indoor courts surfaces. Leather Basketballs are generally made for professional leagues and is made from genuine leather as they are soft and the most comfortable material also with prolonged use the basketball has a softer feeling to touch.
Synthetic basketballs are made from composite leather which feels just like leather. Synthetic basketballs can be played on both indoor and outdoor surfaces. Unlike leather, prolonged use may break the basketballs. Synthetic basket due to its leather-like material gives much better grip and control than a leather basketball.
Rubber basketballs are the most affordable and used by beginners. Rubber basketballs are more durable and have a high bounce to it. Rubber Basketballs are great for outdoor courts.
Most Basketballs comes in a very known burnt orange colour. It is also not uncommon to see colours such as black, blue and yellow.
